I created Emotional Island by collecting recent news from the visitors through an interactive performance as part of Good News event at Alexandra Palace Park, London.
I wandered around the park with 100 plastic colour balls and asked the public about their recent news and to choose a colour that showed whether their news was rated between very good (red) and very bad (blue).
An island was then made from the colourful plastic balls and installed on Alexandra Palace Boating Lake.
